one queston tho i though the stock header and dp both had an o2 sensor correct? so the new one only has the one on the header and one by the flex pipe which would b the wideband one. arent I missing the one that goes lower down on the dp and thats were the 2nd stock o2 would go?

Did you order a catless DP? If so, you might as well leave the second sensor off, you will get a code anyway and it can just be turned off, it doesn't affect performance.

Unplug it and put it away somewhere. Tuck the harness up behind the heat shield along the tunnel under the car. Done.

oh perty. about to send my payment in for:

stainless
1.75" primaries
4-1 header
3" dp with 2.5" spot welded sleeve (to fit 2.5" cat-back; may remove sleeve in future upgrade to 3" cat-back)
metalic substrate cat converter
NO extra bung needed
Total: $577.33

edit: I understand it may be a few weeks before this is shipped. I know you're all very busy with the cat-back GB. I will wait patiently...for a little while :lol Oh, and Beth is awesome, very helpful and a treat to work with.

How does that hold up to heat, does it discolor like a stainless header, or does it stay one color like that? Does it have heat retention like regular Jet Hot or somethign ceramic?

^^I agree^^

Taking off the old header and down pipe was the hardest part of the job. I recomend that you have a 13 mil ratchet wrench. I used it a lot on the header. I was done in an hour and a half. It was not stressful at all.

My header/dp sounds good. When it first went on we checked for leaked you could barely tell that it is aftermarket until we revved it then there is more of a girgle. The only thing I noticed is that when the car is cold it sounds like a a fart can is on it...but it goes away after a few minutes of driving. I actually noticed the gains and cant wait to get tuned tommorrow.

Overall very satisfied with the product and would recommend doing business with them to anyone interested in their products.

Exhaust gasket is like $15 form the chevy dealer. I just sanded the other one between the downpipe and the exhaust a lil bit.

Sorry I have not been available. We had a business analysis done this week so it required a lot of our time.

The ceramic coating is done by Performance Coatings. It is a heat barrier just like Jet Hot. Depending on the exhaust temps, the coating may stay nice and shiny or fade to a dull aluminum color. The whole purpose is to reduce radiated heat. The looks is just a bonus.

We did have a Cobalt here Tuesday but could not get it on the rack. TRI-Y headers are just waiting for O2 placement confirmation. I'm sorry this is taking so long. Let me work on this for the up-coming week.

Thanks for everyone's response and comments to the quality if our products and the ease of install, sound, performance, etc.

Yes, we still have headers/DP's available for sale at the GP pricing. First come, first serve. Once they are gone we will be selling our products for full retail.

We do not offer 1 1/2" primary tubes. We have installed 1 5/8" on a couple 2.2L cars with nothing but great results. 1 1/2" is too small and would not be worth-while.

Thanks everyone.

My header/dp with cat made me get a CEL...When I get tuned tomorrow they should get rid of it, but just letting people know.

By the way, thank you so much Dan for a great product, great service, and overall the experience was great. Would definetly do business with you guys if I need anything you offer in the future.

Thanks,

John

I take back what I said about the fart can, header/dp sounds great I am guessing things just needed to break in or get settled in....???
