Back ordered would imply that they do not have stock ready for shipping (which is the case). They are still making all the combo's that have already been ordered.

I'm really hoping this doesn't turn in to the jbp header and take months to get. I've got a good feeling about dan and clear image so im sure they will be done before the end of july (atleast I hope lol)

As far as number of order, etc. There is no easy way for me to figure it out. The reason is this:

almost every single order is different in some way, shape or form. Some have stainless down-pipes, some have aluminized, some have 3", some have 2 1/2", some got velocity cones, some got extra O2 bungs, some got hi-flow converters, some wanted welded flanges, some wanted slip-fit flanges, some wanted ball flanges, some got ceramic coating. Take all of that and there are probably just as many different assemblies for a kit we are working on. With all of that, some orders are easier to fill than others because we have everything available and others who ordered sooner we can't fill as easily because we are waiting for something. Specifically, we are waiting for another batch of 3" flex sections, we are waiting for 2-bolt flat factory flanges. Also, we need to find the best location to install the extra O2 bung for those wideband customers. I'm dropping all headers for ceramic coating off today. Todd is building as many down-pipes as possible with the parts we have today. Tomorrow more headers will be assmbled. There's a lot to do to fill all these orders and there's just a couple of us here.

To add to this as well as address the issue of "back order" and other comments. remember, we went from R&D to full production in a very short amount of time. We are a small shop and every part of the header we make ourselves, less the flanges. We do all of our own bending and form every collector ourselves. Then every tube is polished to remove the clamp marks. Each tube is cut and hand assembled and all finish work is done by hand. We are truly building these header/DP combinations to order for each of you specifically. I doubt any two kits are being shipped the same way. I have it listed on my website, we are not the least expensive nor are we the fastest at shipping. Simply, we offer the best quality and finish work available.

We're almost there guys, not months away.

I got a ported LSJ mani and a 3" catless DP coming off if thats what you are looking for.

 

Just stopped by the shop today and saw lots of headers and downpipes.... and 6 went to the coating shop i guess... they are rolling guys! Won't be long

 

Thanks for the confirmation Dana. I keep forgetting to get my camera out of my wifes car as I said I would post pictures.

Anyways, I picked-up the stainless flanges today, the first set of stainless primary tubes are bent and the only thing we are waiting on to build a complete 304 stainless steel header is 20 feet of thicker tubing so we can form the collector.

Up-dates will continue as we make progress and time allows.

When you guys are 100% done with this, PM me. I want to order a header to 3" back exhaust. But, i don't want to place my order while you're all busy building stuff. When I spend money, I like it taken out of my account NOW and the items in my hand in a few weeks. Know-what-i-mean?

Well when i went by.... thursday they had about 8 headers ready and sent 6 to the coaters.... maybe?

 

Mine didn't need coated so that's a possible yay! Lol

 

Sorry that's a total of 14 about because i saw a bunch on the ground and Todd said they already sent some... so it's very possible... did you order a DP too?

 

We shipped a couple today.

we were hoping to get both your orders shipped today but could not due to the same reason, no more 3" flex couplers. That's it, the only hold-up. I have 25 on order. 12 from one state and 13 from another. I'm hoping to see the first 12 Monday. if so, both your orders, along with a bunch more can ship Monday.

We have 8 more 4-1 headers and 3 TRI-Y headers to assmble and finish. We have 18 more down pipes to assemble; all being held-up by the flex couplers.

For those waiting until we are done with this first batch of 25, thanks for your interest. I do understand. When it's all said and done, we will have headers in stock after the above production is complete.
