New header & down-pipe sale!
Fyi my header has been done since june 15th. And if I recall dan said he would have had ours shipped if it weren't for the flex sections. And he got them in and yours has been shipped but mine didn't.
If I'm correct, I had just finished your DP, when the shipping truck arrived ( 1/2 hr earlier then it was suppose to ) Dan was unable to get the driver to wait for it to get packaged.
It is ready to go out tomorrow, along with more orders

dude, you are the only one in this thread that keeps bitching. good lord, relax. its not like you cant drive your freakin car until you get these parts. you need to give them some respect and note that when doing stuff by hand you have alot of factors involved and not everything goes through exactly how thought...especially when their are multiple people involved.
Dan had brought up your name and had made it a point to me to make sure I had it done, but as I stated the shipping truck arrived early, and these guy's do not like to wait around.
Yours was not the only that did not get shipped today, but it is ready for tomorrow, along with other orders.
Thanks for the info todd. I hope the wait is worth it! Like I've said before in here this is my first header I've ever ordered for any car so idk what to really look for in a header. From what I saw in the pics it looks like a real nice piece of work.
It really made me think about my approach with people. Now, I still go off every now and then, but never outside of our own shop if I can help it.Enough said.
shsballa023,
you will have a tracking number later today as Todd mentioned. Also, just a little insight to your order, the stainless female ball connection with the flange we are sending, it took roughly 30 minutes with both Todd and I working on it. It's a 5 step process to take a piece of 3" 304 stainless steel and turn it into what you are getting. Price should have been $40.00. I only charged you $20.00. So you are getting a great deal on the products we built for you. We did things like this throughout this group purchase; no additional charge for extra O2 bungs, no additional charge for removable flanges, etc.
Speaking of removable flanges, for everyone else who ordered their down-pipe with the slip fit factory flange, I wasn't sure what your plans were so we left them loose. They are a tight fit and we would simply hold them together with a small weld which could be ground off later. What I'm getting at is, if you have your header and down-pipes installed at a shop, do NOT let them do a full weld at the slip. Otherwise you will have to cut the down-pipe later when you up-grade to a 3" exhaust. Instead, have them do a small spot weld on one or two sides. Or you could use a slip style clamp. (Clamp was not included).
We will continue to build and ship your orders daily.
Thanks again everyone.

Also anyone look into taking their combo somewhere for ceramic coating? Anyone know a ballpark amount or a place near Pittsburgh, PA that does it?
No, I wouldn't do something like that. He will get exactly what he ordered. However, something I learned from one of our local suppliers; "customers can be fired too.". I use to rant and rave about delays, mistakes, etc whenever there was a problem. I went off on a couple of the employees there one time and the owner called me in for a conference. He said I will never know how close I had come to being "fired" as a customer.

whats the difference with the ss downpipe?
Quick question concerning the slip fit connections? I have small wire fed (I think MIG) welder. Will this work to tack the slip fit onto the downpipe? Or is this not the right type of welder to use with this type or metal?

If you are just going to tack yes you can use it fine, if you are doing it on stainless though, make sure you gets stainless wire.
