New header & down-pipe sale!
Been to the track ONE time with my car, and I ran a 13.7
STFU.
I'll go back when my car is back up, and I'll run 12's, and personally hand you a copy of the vid on a CD so you can keep it to show yourself whenever you think about how slow these cars are.

yawn , you say this every week.
Only when you say it can't be done. I've run 13's with the car not really in great shape, if you'd like to send me all that money you make, to finish my repairs faster, I'd be glad to provide the vid sooner. Moroso is closed now anyway, so it makes little difference.

It should help out somewhat. I'm gonna try and prep the metal really well and use the VHT 1500 degree paint. Then I'm gonna try and "bake" it on like the can says by running the engine for a couple mins then shutting off. Repeat this a couple times, then go for a ride. That should cure it better... I'm not looking for performance gains, I'm mainly just interested in keeping it protected from rust and looking decent. I'm also gonna do their 3" exhaust and opt for stainless FTW!..
The only way to get that stuff to work is to bake it in the oven for an hour or longer like it tells you. You can't get even controlled heat from running the engine. I did my DP with that stuff, and it didn't last at all.
We sprayed the header with 1400 degree ceramic paint. Probably 3 coats. It was peeling off by the time I had driven the car to the dyno just 20 minutes south. The ONLY coating which will withstand the heat and last is 100% ceramic. I have never used the VHT paint so I can't comment.
