What happened there?


Also, Beth is more than happy to post shipping up-dates. I wont simply because every customer gets a tracking number emailed to them when the label is created. I honestly don't have the time to posts duplicate information of shipping. We are down to just a couple of us in the shop right now so I can either help build your products and not up-date shipping or I can up-date shipping and leave all of your products to be built by one guy. I assume it's fair to say you would rather have your products being built than for me to sit at the computer?

3 months later and people still havnt gotten there header.

That isn't us. We actually shipped one of the first GP header/DP combo today.

 

If I read correctly, everyone had till the end of last month to get in on it and the final prices would be set. Which means they shouldn't have started to roll until a week ago.

Yes, you guys are great. But so are countless others now that we have had a chance to show our customer service and products off.

We are really happy to be working with the Cobalt, Ion and G5 communities.

Yea, I researched them a lot when I was in Iraq. Actually emailed Dan way back in 06 while I was out there. Always upset me that they made such good products for other platforms, but since no one researched them that no one wanted to try them out. So that's why I do it.

Ya I think ima go to terrys automotive to get it installed. Hey dan, how long did it take to install the 4 into 1 header and dp on the cobalt?

 

Figure about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. That does not count roughly 30 minutes we let things cool down first.

 

Just wanted to keep all of our customers in the loop and post an up-date on header/DP production:

currently, 13 of 24 headers are built and ready for finish work starting tomorrow. 2 have shipped. One is ready to ship pending down-pipe completion and 2 have been installed locally. I will have a batch of 2-bolt flanges next Thursday for the down-pipes.

Also, I went ahead and ordered 304 stainless 2-bolt flanges for the stainless down-pipes and I ordered 304 stainless header flanges. We have another thread going in our forum about stainless headers. I was hoping for at least 10 definite customers but I figured we would just plan to build a batch of 10 stainless headers for those who were previously and currently interested. I'll have definite prices soon and will up-date this post as well as my other stainless header post. Here's the link for those interested:

Getting close to mine I see... awesome. All my parts are almost here, planning to take my car apart and repair it in two weeks, really hope to have the header by then, it would make it much simpler to put it on while I have the engine apart.

 

Hey im new to the new cobalt scene. I just bought me 2.0 ss/sc. My previous car a OBD I. Had ALOT less sensors are there any after cat sensors on these cars? So if i went with the catless exhaust i wouldnt though a code or what? Because I want to run the 4 in1 header and downpipe and then get the exhaust 3" from these guys with just a resonator and straight back.
