man i got mine in and they look great and the high beams work and everything, but i'm extremely extremely disapointed in the brightness. i have 10000k fog lights and i ordered these with 6000k and my fog lights are brighter on the road than these are. the first set of retrofits were way brighter. so either something isn't right or these things are just crap. in terms of looks 11/10 though!

yeah i like the color of mine, but im guessing the actual projection and light output from 8000k isnt like, good? the distance is almost half of what it was with the other lights.

8000k aren't as bright as whiter bulbs, but are still pretty bright. Did you try adjusting them up at all? They might just be adjusted too far down.

No, any hid bulb from 4300k to 5000k will always be brighter than the higher k bulbs, no matter what the application. Don't adjust how the projector is installed, just use the stock headlight adjusters and adjust the headlights like you would with the stock bulbs. That's all you need to do. To get the correct aim, park on level ground 20-25 feet from a wall, measure the height from the ground to the projector on your car, then measure the height of the upper cutoff line. The cutoff line should be 2 in lower than the projectors are.

Is this the new style projector? if so that cutoff line is much much better. But they do look to be aimed a lil too low.

PM me the code on the base of the bulb should be like H1 10x Ill make sure you got the correct bulbs you ordered. Also, if you did not dremal the back of the headlight, the bulb is probably sitting to far back in the projector.

not without aiming up and increasing glare, or getting a lower K bulb.

Yes that's the Morimotos that buyhids.com sells. Not really new, just new for them. It's a very nice easy to install projector.

Im on the same page.
Im running 5ks and my 6k ebay kit without a projector was brighter than this. Something doesnt seem right. I can barely tell a difference with my fog lights on switching from parking lights to headlights
