5k is pure white. 6k is a bluish white but more white. 7k they don't make. 8-10k are blue and get more blue with the higher the number. 12k starts turning purple......

Guys ive already explained this.. If you did not dremal the back of the reflector to have the bulb bracket sit flush with the projector. Then your bulb is not inserted all the way which is why the lack of light. Takes 30 secs and you can do with with a file if you wanted to. You will notice where the bulb bracket kits. Its the top and bottom of it. Sides clear fine. This is also the reason why the screws dont seem to fit or are not long enough,

Yup, I did that, ground it past the threaded washer and bought 3mmx12mm mini screws to hold it in place.

It does still have the black grommet, but theres no where to mount that...

Unless you're trying to retrofit them in 3rd gens. Wouldn't be hard if you know what you're doing, but for noobs such as myself it's NOT fun.

No, that changes. That depends on who makes the bulbs, there's no industry standard on that.

That's not what he meant, he meant the return wire insulator color.

Mike in case you didn't know the retrofit source is working on coming out with an adapter ring that will make these projectors always sit level in every housing, so no rotational adjustment is needed. Just thought I'd give you a heads up for a possible future product. They'll have specific ones for 9007 housings.

those r the white ccfl rings. camera just made them look "blue", I have to mess with the settings on it.

And Tommy, how would I go about the rotation? I just bought them preinstalled and everything. I do not know much about HIDs.

And silverSS, I have the same issue but both headlights only when snow was against the headlight, without the snow there, there was no fog.

To adjust the rotation, you would simply loosen the locking nut in the back a little, turn it, then tighten in back up. If you take out the light and look at the back you'll see what I mean. It's really easy, it could have shaken loose during shipping. And I take it back, it's the driver side, I think.

I had to tighten mine with a flat head screw driver. It was too loose with the small rubber gasket, had to use the bigger one
