Question 2.2 4 lug calipers....

i have the J41 the single iron piston 50mm. wondering how to get something better. i found new rotors but no one makes a single kit for mine other than the big brake kit (that i've found) and i dont need to spend 1K just wanted something better on there... if theres nothing available whats the exact specs so i could have one custom ordered from wilwood? sorry FNG at brakes i just know how to change them...

Yea, not really any options besides the SSBC BBK or a custom kit for the 4 lug. You can physically bolt up the SS brakes and have the rotors redrilled for 4 lug though if memory serves me correctly

If the ss calipers bolt up look into finding the right dimension 4 lug rotor. Redrilling should be possible tho for a ss rotor.

SS/SC, the TCs will not fit without a fitment kit

Look into brake line fittings if you change the calipers there is a chance they are different. Also the line length is probably different and you may lose abs because of the different size rotors/ higher braking force. I am by no means an expert on this stuff. I would contact powell or maven. they should be able to help you out better than me.

ah i feel like an expert now! (not really) the J41 dosent have abs only the JM4 does. they are the exact same just ABS gives it the JM4 label. and ill see what i can do. john's pretty cool guy ill start there dont really know maven and wouldnt wanna bug him.

Do as much research as possible before you buy any parts. if it works i may consider this swap myself.

I'm pretty sure Powell makes a kit/can fab a kit pretty easily. Or you can just do the 5 lug swap and make your life a lot easier

There is a setup where you change the caliper bracket and a bigger rotor with your existing caliper, I forget what it is tho. On here somewhere as far as the ss/sc brakes, your cheapest option will be to get the caliper, bracket and rotor and get them redrilled to 4x100. Needs a min 16" wheel tho to clear. I swapped from the 4 lug to the 5x110 lug and ss fronts. Gonna cost you more then you wanna spend tho.

would also limit my wheel selection, i was thinking some 17" kazera kzp's in bronze wrap them in DZ101's
