Allignment on lowered car

I just got my sportlines installed on my SS today, looks great, no wierd noises, but the allignment is off a bit. Now i was wondering, is there any added difficulty doing a wheel allignment on a lowered car?

Theres a new shop right beside the place that installed my springs, has all brand new equipment, but not sure how many lowered cars they deal with. So im wondering if most allignment shops can allign a lowered car without issue.

Nothing different. Hopefully he has a "pit" style allignment area otherwise the car may not be able to get on the machine.

One question, Is it normal for one side to be slightly lower then the other when they are first put in? Drivers side rear is slightly lower then the passenger rear. Only driven 10km since they were put in yesterday

i would drive it about 100miles before you have it aligned. The springs need to settle some.

drive about 100miles to break them in some more, to let the springs settle abit more

i just got my car lowered too on sportlines

i got it aligned to fix the toe in that happened with lowering the car

the car pulled slightly to the right after, so i took it back and they said it was something with my tires.
haha but its only when i let go of the wheel sometimes, i just live with it haha
i just ordered steering rack spacers, to rise the steering rack back to balanced level since after the drop

EDIT: you guys beat me to it haha

if the top spring plate is notput back correctly, tab in, the ride height wont be the same side to side and the car will pull one way or the other....faulty installation is my bet assuming correct tire pressures alignment etc....

Make sure you check this out....Thats what the shop that installed mine did.

Hopefully the shop near you can do an alignment. The only shops i came across that would align lowered vehicles were Kal Tire (took it to them twice and they still couldn't tell me what the problem was) and Dales (who figured it out right away)

Good luck.

The place in taking it too specializes in doing lowering and alligning lowered vehicles and can correct any installation issues made by other shops

It's not getting done till Saturday so got all week to drive it, I know it needs one, it pulls to the right now. Never done suspension mods to my cars before so I'm just nervous that the shop fucked something up

My car used to do the vibration thingy, mainly when accelerating and making a turn, after I lowered it. It also made some weird "clunk" noises when you'd turn the wheel in a stopped position.

All of the noises and vibrations went away recently, but I've been lowered for over a year now. Maybe all of the **** finally settled, who knows. That or I'm going deaf.
