is this a bad combo?

i have a 07 cobalt ss, i just bought ssc springs, the drop is 1.25". people are saying that im going to blow my front struts and rear shocks if i dont upgrade them also, does any have problems with theres? tell me something people!!! plz

Eventually they will go, due to the fact that they were designed to work with the stock ride height. It's not going to be an overnight thing though.

nope not yet. Yet being the key word there. i really don't think its going to be a huge problem. shocks where made for movement, whether it be up or down. as long as you don't bottom them out alot you should be good. just take care when you go over bumps and things of that nature. i've hade mine on for 20,000 miles, and I'm good. most people run into problems with their struts are stupid when it comes to going over things.
