bad Rear control arm bushing what are the symptoms

try your upper strut mounts, they can go bad over time and cause vibrations as well

i bought these struts from a junk yard they are 2009 with 44k on them do you think they would be bad?

the struts maybe not but the strut mounts could be cracked or have gone bad.

do you have rack spacers? Just throwing that out there as an idea. My parents hhr has some vibes and it is lowered with no rack spacers.

i think switching to stock heigh will solve my problem but i like the look alot better when its dropped. the other day i drove with a full car of large people and the vibration was strong

how do i see if my strutmounts are bad?

i turned my wheels and looked at the mounts and the nut was moving up and down

What nut was moving up and down?

The only way to check strut mounts is to turn the wheels with the front end off the ground and feel for any roughness or anything. Or pull the struts and look at them, turn the mount by hand and feel it for play.

the only nut you see n top of the strut mount when you have the hood open, i did that parked at a gas station... moved differently than the other side which had almost no play

Yeah that top nut really shouldn't move.

Did it get tightened down properly when the springs were installed?

yes its been done with an impact wrench (electric) im thinking the rubber part is bad, i hear the bearing is bad also once the rubber is bad can someone confirm that?
