Best Lower control arm bushing?
I have an 07 ss/sc but have no idea how to tell which controllers I have... Is it something easy to check?
Switching to the Brembo's keeps sounding more and more like a pain in the ass

and serially I can put together a kit for you by say Tom at CED and do a how to for you. He will do the oem parts, I can put together the special non OEM Stuff you have to do....
or contact OTTP for a BBK full floating kit using your stock Caliper thats a 312 mm rotor, not bad... here it is....
/\ OMG those are sexy!!!
Does the BBK (koni racing brakes) setup fit inside a stock SS/SC wheel?
Yeah if you could put together a parts list that would be awesome... then I can look into how much its would to cost.
Or do you have an est cost on who much switching over to Brembo's could run?

Switching to Brembos is cake, it seems like youre stuck on the TC knuckles, which is actually the most involved part and not truly needed. Brembo kit will probably run you $1000 minimum including new brake hoses and fluid.
Yes the Koni BBK fits in stock wheels, it even fits in 17's, its what I run:

I'm not stuck on TC knuckles...I just know I need to either get the competition / G6 or TC ones depending on which way I go.
So with running the BBK up front what do you about the back? ...Change anything?

I have no clue how long they last on the street I am guessing forever.
It is driver dependent I suppose, I got 125,000 miles and never replaced pads on my 06 GMC 2500 brakes towing trailers before I sold it. Good sized quality rotors do last a long long time...
I also dont know what the effects of long term corrosion salt/snow does to the floating rotor, I would guess regular cleaning etc would take care of them. Maven and Area 47 are the true long term testers of the BBK set up thats what they run. I have a Brembo TC floating rotor set up but it dont run in the winter...
