What are the best coilovers for the price.

 

How are you going to be using them? Are you actually going to track it or are you buying them just to get low?

If you want to get low:

Megan Racing will be fine and that is $800

Want Handling:

BC is the cheapest that I would recommend for hard driving and that is like $950

However Stance, KW v2, and Pedders are all built and perform a bit better but they are $1200+

 

i only go to the dragstrip. I would like to have the handling as well. I think i would go with the pedders. The kw v2 sound good to.

 

Pedders helped my digs.

Is anyone running the D2 racing coilover setup from JM Racing? Im looking for a good coilover setup for the money for daily driving, no track use.

That wasn't the lowest setting, but i'm curious as to how those pictures made you change your mind.

 

Mostly because when I asked that question I was gonna buy some KSPORTS but the guy has been ignoring me ever since..Now I found someone who's gonna sell me his Megans

 

If AST ever comes out with 5000 series Cobalt setup my credit card and my girlfriend are gonna hate me! They're supposedly in development. I want to send an e-mail and find out but, I'm kinda affraid. This is from 3-09:

lsifbody that stance is perfect, im a huge fan. im looking at the ksports but i was wondering is there a difference between the ksports and the ksport pros? if so which ones did you have? it seems to me like the pros have camber plates, which i would want to have to get my alignment right and not kill my tires

hey just wondering if you guys could give me any info on the KW Varient 1 coilovers, im looking to get a set, more for looks and minor track use nothing too hard core....are they legit or are they a waste of money?

 

Its not going to lower your car as much as other options but they will handle decent. If you want to be as low as LS1 pics above your going to have to look somewhere else, as I believe they wont get that low. KW V2 is probably the best OTS set-up though. Im personally going with Megan due to the even rates and cheaper price. After riding in a car with them they rode very nice.

 

I had the pro's i have Stance GR+ now

 

the V1's are worthless. They hardly lower the car, and the handling increase over stock SS stuff is negligible.

If you want low, Stance GR+
If you want handling, KW V2

im going to get them anyways my buddy is trading his ss/tc sedan in and giving me a good deal on them and there still fairly new, so if i dont like them im sure i can sell them again for what i got them for atleast

 

I'm thinking of buying some bc's from modern, what's their lowest setting? I want a little under a inch gap in the front inchh in the back.. could bc's do that?

 

what coil overs should I get for my ss that will have a nice ride and will lower it where the tire is right under the wheel well...any help cause theres alot out there and i want to do it right!! thanks
