DC Strut Bar Install Help

Ordered my DC Strut tower bar. Just wondering what everyone else has done to install it. I have read you have to jack the car up on both sides. I have also read no they left it on level ground and did it. Also do you have to worry about the sturt falling off? I really have never done anything technical with my car other then rims and tires and the oil change. Any help would be appreciated.

Havent installed it yet but i plan on leaving the car on level ground, cuz ur undoing the bolts that hold ur strut in place therefore the cars weight will keep everything where it should be. Anyone correct me if im wrong?!?!?

Leave it on level ground and see if you can install it. The instructions are pretty good, but it's going to be a TIGHT fit. Might also help to have two people to move each side and get it lined up just right, but it's not necessary, I did mine by myself and it was fine except the passenger's side. If you're VERY lucky, you should be able to get it to slide on with no adjustment. If not, the only side you should have to jack up is the passenger's side...that's the only side that has closed holes on the strut bar, the other side has slots that just slide on the bolts.

I jacked my car up on level ground to do mine. It was a very tight fit, but everything turned out ok. The next day I took the car into NTB to get the eiback prolines put on and also an alignment afterwards...grand total w/ 1 yr re-alignments = 418$ (excluding strut bar and spring costs) :/
