Downgrading

So am wondering if once I change from stock FE5 , to FE1, if I need to put soft ride struts or just stay with oem struts ?
I know, don't downgrade, but am using as a daily driver car, and don't want to feel everything on the road.

The FE5 shocks are valved differently than the FE1. I would just change the struts and shocks to the FE1 and that may smooth it out enough for you.
