Honest question.
Honest question.
Since the civic and the 2.2 cobalts have the same size hubs would a rear drum to disk big brake conversion from a civic fit onto the cobalt. Aisde from needing a customized bracket to hold the caliper it "should" fit shouldnt it? The reason I ask is because there are many more options and probally lower costs. Thoughts?
I personally do not think that is a good idea, just leave the drums as they are. How much faster do you plan on going in the 2.2? I put alot of performance on my old 2.2 before i got my ss/sc, and brakin was never a problem
I would spend the money and have the right parts made for a cobalt, not a honda, I understand the money issue, but how well do you think the install and braking power will work, go with a kit made for your chevy.
