Installing springs

Can you install springs if your car is sitting on blocks or do i have to wait until my wheels get here to have either the 2 front wheels on while i change the back springs or the 2 back wheels on while i change the front springs?

I changed mine on jackstands. I guess it depends on where the blocks are. I really hope you don't have the brake discs sitting on them.

lol no I dont.

And also wondering would a coil spring compressor be the tool I would use for the springs? I don't know alot about mechanics atm but i prefer doing installations on my car myself instead of going to a shop. Feels like I just had sex or something you know. Something I can be proud of.

I don't know how to quote on this thing. Whenever I try it doesn't say who I quoted or w/e but uhh Mastashake im going to borrow the coil spring compressor from autozone since they have a loan a tool service which I guess is free unless im wrong

and yes word lol. Well the feeling when youre single and you go out and you pick up a chick n get it in and then when you wake up the next morning and youre still sorta drunk and see the chick(hoping shes hot) and youre proud of yourself. that sorta sex feeling not the kind when youre in a relationship and youre not proud of it anymore because you can basically do it whenever

yeahh but you still get your money back so its basically free. returning something would make it free also but dont feel like risking the possibility of them giving me store credit instead of my money back or having to argue why im returning it lol

I got sportlines lol because I didn't really do much research and most other springs were too small of a drop. Didn't have enough money for coils or pedders either and I was really just tired of seeing the massive wheel gap that i started noticing thanks to css.net as explained in my other thread that got trolled and locked.

I checked the uhh how to section and saw a post on doing springs. I'm just going to follow that and hope it goes good.

Installed my springs this friday. Get the right tools -_- ffs it took me forever cuz I didnt know what tools to be using so had to be testing each out. The last strut bolt and the bolts on the struts from the ones were the worst ones but the most simple ones lol good luck with putting yours in mastashake

the main strut bolt up top i had to use a air gun. Otherwise its pretty much impossible lol took me a while to figure it out because I was pretty much already frustrated. The uhh 2 strut bolts towards the bottom I held one side with a wrench and used a ratchet to take the nut off then hit the bolt with a hammer to make it come out. Not sure if thats how youre supposed to do it but it worked for me lmao
