Jerky steering problem low speed.

Hi ,
The past few days I have noticed at low speed the steering seems jerky, no warnings or codes. I have heard, alternator, strut mount bearing, suspension issues. I am lost, any tips? Thanks in advance.

Jerky steering? Like it's easy to steer then suddenly it's heavy and then light again?

Had a customer ion doing that last summer. Would get to a certain point turning at a stop or low speed and get stiff af. Put a rack in it to fix it.

This is more random..sometimes as soon as you try turning other times as you go around a corner it doesn't return well...I pb blasted the intermediate shaft and will try that first.

Ya, thats the way his was. I could watch the power steering motor voltage on my tech 2 and it would get to the point where it was stiff and the amp output on the power steering motor would ramp up and come back down. And once the motor got hot from working so hard it would get worse and worse.
