LNF Brakes on a LSJ
LNF Brakes on a LSJ
Hey I know I have read this on here but could not find with search. Please confirm there is a way to put the Brembos from the 08-09 LNF on my 05 LSJ. Thanks
Bump... no one knows?

well I think that if it has a bracket I should be able to but I might have to by the upgraded knuckle, otherwise the brembo part # stickie in here would indicate all you have to do is just swap everything out.
i think you pretty much need everything, the knuckles, wheel bearings, rotors, pads, calipers, bolts, hoses, ect. now to compliment this and keep brake proportioning correct you need the ss/tc rears, wich you pretty much just need to replace the whole rear axle complete. now the abs system is way out of wack with the way better brakes, so it should be changed, but its just not going to work electronicly with the ss/sc.
dont forget you need to get ss/tc wheels cause the ss/sc wheels dont clear the calipers with the tc brakes.

you do not need to change the rear brakes. fit the brembos on the lsj knuckle no problem you will have to space the stock wheels out. change the hardware dont worry about the rear brakes and the abs proportioning is fine. early gm development cars used front brembos with sc rears...DO NOT try and fit LNF front knuckles and wheel bearings to 05-06 early 07 the wheel speed counts are not the same for abs...08/09 to 05/06/some07....the axle shafts for the LNF fit the LSJ there is a way to make it work for the early LSJ with TC axle shafts but if i tell you i have to either sell the solution to you or ...kill you

Part numbers are out there numerous times. Buy the parts(rotor, caliper, pads, pin kit, bolts, hoses) and install.
I know people like to wait for someone else to do stuff......Soooooooo if you wait I am getting VERY close(less than a month) to doing my brake swap, its undecided exactly what its going to be right now, but it MAY be Brembos(if the wheels fit and some other factors) You can either stay tuned and see if thats what I do(50% chance) or you can be the pioneer and have the first photo documented swap.(it does work and has been done, hence the "photodocumented" part, take pics bish)

bolt on change the wheels or use a spacer. Dont do anything but change the hardware, fronts only is fine... the abs calibration is fine. so are m/cyl fluid volumes
