I just checked the SSC web site for some info about these springs. Their own application guide just says "Cobalt". It doesn't even say which one. I have to assume the drop amount they list is for the stock base model, not the SS. In which case, the drop on an SS is less than a half inch up front and nothing in the rear. They keep the same coil rate, which means they have the same amount spring in them as stock. It seems they would basically do nothing for an SS. With the Eibach Pro-kit, you also don't get a real big drop, but at least you get a tighter coil rate and firmer ride.

The SSC spring cost $130 versus Eibach $280. But to spend even $130, plus the install labor, for a spring that doesn't do anything different seems kindda silly.
