Yeah god forbid you break the head off a bolt. You'd have to tow the car to a shop to get it fixed haha. A little man-genuity goes a long way. Apparently some of the men on this forum were born without *********. Shame...

I dropped the perch on the ground, sprayed white lithium grease on it, then pushed down on the spring and twisted at the same time. It took some work but the spring seated. Sometimes being 35 pounds overweight pays off.

A customer of mine had a set of Pedders corroded badly. The Pedders response, replacement springs shipping pre paid, was appreciated and we all thank you for that.

If I were you I would use some green jiggle can rust check and coat them for the winter. Vancouver does not get that severe a winter. etc. thanks
