Pic Request---NON SS with SS springs

Okay, I've been searching for some springs, and I'm pretty much undecided on which to get. I've seen a lot of used SS/SC and SS/TC springs in the classifieds, so I may end up pick up a set for the time being. So I need some pics of any non-SS Cobalts with SS SS/TC springs.

It looks like theres sooooo much gap because these are stock SS springs, they arent "lowering springs", He asked what it looks like and thats what it looks like about 5/8"(16mm) in front and 1"(25mm) in back, after about 8 months the fronts settle to just shy of an inch and the rear to about 1.25"

you need to get springs with at least a 2 inch drop. most of the kits have a 2 up front and 2.5 in the back. makes it look real good

oh, i have always thot that SS springs on a like nonSS like a base or LS would like be lowering springs, because it would be lower than a stock base spring. but mav, on yurs r those SS non SC or TC?? like 2.4 springs? or r they infact SS/SC SS/TC springs???

for some reason your car does not look like it has SS springs on it..

hmmmm, maybe caz it has the stock like 15's on it not filling up the gap. and maybe the bumpers that aint as low as an SS is y me and ppl think it dont look lowered!

thats my thot, or like u said it takes a while to settle. ...were those lowerd pics before or after they settled??????

i can see now by looking at the side skirt like area, it looks lower than stock. but wow, i would deff go aftermarket, unless it was a hella good deal, and yur gonna do like a body kit and rims or something! caz it looks high up by the wheel wells!!!!

The pics of the car in the dirt are on SS/TC springs the pics on asphalt are stock.

SS springs on an LS lower 5/8"-1" in front after settling and 1-1.25" in rear after settling. These pics were taken pretty much right after I put the springs on, but its still easily 1/2-5/8" in front and 3/4" in back before settling.

You cant judge by wheel gap unless the cars have sime size wheels, so comparing my stock wheeled car on SS springs to a LS on 18's with SS springs would make my car look higher even though it isnt.

Ive got Pedders on now and theyve got a 1.5" drop in front and over 1.5" in back so i cant take anymore pics. Ive got a 2finger gap in front right now, and 3 in the back, so once my 17's get here(friday :fingerscrossed Ill be down to a 1 finger gap in front, and 2 in back. Thats fine by me since I am after handling and not looks, but I will go down to 1/2-1 finger all the way around if i can get the coilovers I wanna try.
