For future reference, can we just call them 'SS Springs' since it has nothing to do with the blower under the hood, and both cars have the same springs.

And I'd think it should give him about .25 in the front and a .75 in the rear.

handling might be a little better, but keep in mind handling from springs is usually a result of lowering the center of gravity while body roll and other aspects come from the sway bars and struts.

the springs in SS and SS/SC are the same but they have different other compenents. talk to D4U2S0T or jackalope. D4 put springs in his 2.2 before he got the 2.0 and Jack has installed springs for people. they really just even you out. if you are looking for a drop get some aftermarket springs. if you are just looking for an inexpensive alternative to evening out the car (and there is nothing wrong with that) then get the SS springs

the ss springs should give you a mild performance increase, but i think you would need the shocks as well to truely have it driving like an ss.
my .02, but i have never helped anyone do this.. so my opinion here dosent mean ****.

well i wanna do performance/handling as a pattern.
First i'm gonna get my gmpp intake, then lowering springs, then exhaust, then strut bar, then new manifold(haven't decided) then sway bars, then turbo..then nitrous..wait, jk lol.
the big question though.
IS THE DROP ON A SS/SC THE SAME AS WOULD BE ON A LT/LS WITH THE SAME SPRINGS?
or not..?

lowered about a half inch. that 1/2 inch made a big difference appearance wise though. really leveled it out nice. i would go that route if you want it to look a little better but don't want/need a big drop or price tag. most sell them for about 50 or 60 shipped.
