PLEASE HELP - Removing Front Springs

I am installing springs as we speak. I can't seem to remove the stock springs from the front of the Balt. If you have any ideas how to remove them, please help me! I've tried just about everything. Does it require tools only the dealership has? IF not, what can I use? Thank you.

Pictures would help a lot!

Search in the "How-to section". Halfcent made a great thread on this.

Here you go:https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/front-strut-spring-r-r-23418/

you have to remove the entire strut. its 3 bolts in the engine, and then 3 bolts behind the wheel. its not too hard. strut should twist apart but make sure you compress the springs.

Thanks for the help guys. I was able to remove it. I didn't realize there was a section on How To's. That helped a lot. I post pics soon.
