Possible Pedders Problem on 2010SS?

2010 SSTC, installed Pedders springs just about 3 weeks ago. Today, leaving the grocery store, a creaking/crunching sound was noticed on the rear passenger side going over speed bumps. This was the first time this noise happened. Decided to take pictures of right-rear spring. Is this wear normal? I assume the sound is not?

You don't wanna cut bump stops. No matter how low you go. They're there for a very good reason. They save your shocks, and actually make your ride smoother. Impacts will be less harsh with the bumpstops in. They themselves act like a spring with a progressive rate, the progressive rate just goes to infinity very quickly.

As some people that had pedders the coils can come together on bigger bumps causing a clunking noise. I put vinyl tubing on mine to stop it. Dont have that car anymore and the new one has YYZ on it.

Not necessarily. The coils on the springs can rub together to make a creaking noise, and TC struts often creak when it's cold out. Mine always did, even when I got the car with 10k miles on it.
