Rack spacers caused noise

Just finished upgrading to FE5 suspension and eibach sportlines. Went for a drive and noticed a weird noise coming from the front mainly when turning and under acceleration. Went back and figured the rack spacers had caused the steering rack to touch the tranny and caused the noise from all the vibration. I removed the spacers and didn't notice any noise at all, and it drove and turned fine.. for now I'm leaving them off but is there any fix to this? Should i just throw the spacers back on or is it fine for now?

You need stage 1 rotated mounts to run the thicker (8mm) spacers. If the spacers are only 5mm, you should have been able to fit them in w/o contact between the rack and tranny. Measure the spacers.

Yeah, like i had no problem putting them in but the noise was annoying and you can also feel it through the steering wheel.
