This is so simple, one of the pain free jobs balt owners enjoy.

Jack the car up (NOT on the twist beam) put it on stands, remove wheels, undo bottom shock bolts and lower twist beam until you can wiggle the springs out. Reverse to reinstall, no compressor needed. I'd recommend that when you have the car up on jackstands support the twist beam so when you take the shock bolts out it doesn't just drop and hang. I place a piece of wood on my floor jack and lower it manually.

81 lb/ft torque spec when you retighten the shock bolts btw. Have fun

I would remove the bolt that holds the brake line bracket to the body on each side, allows you to lower rear beam more and makes it easier to remove springs. It takes a 10mm wrench to remove.

Reason not to jack it up on the twist beam? That's what I do normally before putting the stands on haha.

Jack is removed then reapplied to support it once the stands are on. Car rests on the stands. It's only to get the ass up in the air haha.

You don't want to damage it. It's not meant to hold that load and once its bent its done

check the torque spec thats for the top bolt not the lower. Top bolt is easier to remove. People sometimes cross thread the lower bolt as it doesnt fit straight... removing the brake line clip is a good fail safe plan...

that will trim 10 mm lower its a good choice; buy some new struts and shocks from CED really good prices, you will be done for a while
ps you may need new control arm bushings, I have an upgrade for 199 a pair...( had to make the sales pitch lol)
