Rear FE5/FE3 springs

Thought about just getting FE3/FE5 SS/SC rear springs (same part #) for my standard FE1 suspension. Will it even the rake some?

It would lower the rear for sure. I'm not too sure how the front and rear spring rates would work together. IIRC the SS/SC and SS/TC FE5 spring rates are quite a bit higher than the FE1 spring rates.

a good bit like 90 thousand car has cut ss/sc springs on it but up to 90 thousand didn't see any difference from when they were new in 2005 so they are still good possibly buying an ss/tc soon from lakeland

Fe 1 sets a ride height. whatever it is, (4 x 4 mode) Fe3 trims 10 mm less; FE5 for the LSJ sc trims another 10mm lower; FE5 for LNF turbo trims another 10 mm less. The spring rates for FE3 and FE5 are stiffer, of the two FE5 variants the LNF is slight stiffer than the LSJ, and of course you gain a little stiffness by shortening the spring...

they are all about the same height between the three you really won't notice the difference unless you measure it

theres a solid 1 1/2" less wheel gap on my SS/TC than my moms FE1 G5... HUGE difference in ride quality too... i think CED still offers the LNF/FE5 shock package too
