OK here we go. Judging by the rust on the center of the "spare" rotor in these pictures and the black (powdercoat) on the cracked one, I'm inclined to say that it was one of the R2Concept rotors that cracked. But that's a guess. Bottom line, the way I beat up on these things for 4 years, I'm surprised any of them lasted this long!

Left spare, right cracked rotor:

Left cracked rotor, right brand new OEM rotor

I think the uncracked one is the OEM, look at the cut off for the grey coating, it's paint free inside that where at the cracked R has the black coating inside that. More reason for me to stay OEM unless I eventually go floating rotor setup, which I'm not sure is really worth it.

I agree. Glad I ordered OEM ones. Gonna stay with those. If I want them to look nice I'll just paint them black myself and keep that set for "show" purposes lol
I will definitely go with the floating rotors next year for the track.

Those aren't light I'd bet 24 lbs, stock SS/TC are only 20 lbs and my PF01's are 18 lbs.

^^ This. I had these wheels on my daughter's Neon and they were heavy. They also didn't fare very well after coming into contact with a big pothole at 70mph...

Because they don't exist...

If they do exist, I don't care. I suggest typing it in Google yourself and find what you need.

WTF has been shoved up your ass? Seriously go to the Facebook groups you'll fit in there better. It's getting annoying seeing your mostly negative comments and you don't even like your car so just move on.

Adrian we should add air direction vents to your control arms, that might help some cooling during non braking areas at High Plains

Im pretty sure if you put z28 brakes on a cobalt you could stop so hard you would set the airbags off from the G's you would pull lmao

Are those the floating rotors for the LNF John?

As soon as I get my engine temps sorted that'll be next on my list of track goodies

For metal to come apart like that from heat, tells me your rotors are cheap and don't dissipate heat at all.. all the high end sports cars I've ever seen have drilled rotors. I'm sure they have it right.
Those "high end sports cars" have carbon ceramic rotors which cost thousands of dollars and are extremely durable. Go to a road course track that has real race cars sometime and tell me how many cars that you see that have drilled rotors. I will be you as much money as you have that you will not find a single car that runs them unless they are carbon ceramic.
