Spindles for dirt circle track

Brand new to the Coball scene here, so bear with me.

I bought a 2006 cobalt SS, n/a for dirt circle track racing. All the locals run cavaliers with L61s because they're cheap and abundant. I want something different. Something better.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've read that our cars front spindles are weak / prone to breakage.

What spindles can I run that are up to the task? I'm not concerned about ABS, as that has been deleted.

TIA!

apparently gm had a knuckle break on the test track way back before the cobalt was released. it was a high G corner with slicks. gm released a "performance driving knuckle", basicly it was a g6 spindle with some maching done from what i remember.

myself, i have not heard of anyone outside of gm breaking one. i doubt you would have an issue on dirt.

What did you finally end up with? We run 2 cobalts on dirt. Haven't had any problems but always looking for something stronger. It keeps MaMa happy!
