I just would like to know if a set of springs says its for 05-06, that it's not compatible with my '07? I see some sets that say good for 05-09. And, I'll throw it in there, whats the preffered lowerednessage for a stock LS? nothing more than 2"?

They all fit the same...

preferred lowersnessage as you put it... depends on where you live, where you drive, I would take a personal measurement of how low you would go then go from there.
