Springs

Which springs do not require rack spacers. Or is doing rack spacers a good thing to do.

Rack spacers are recommended with ANY drop spring.. It is all about aligning the steering rack back to its original geometry. However you need different size rack spacers for different springs and ride heights.

dont they only make one size rack spacer.

I believe ttr only makes one size but Powell has a few sizes available. You just let him know which springs you are using, and he will provide you with the correct size rackspacers.

rack spacers? will I need them on the 09 SS/TC? I'm using CM's and don't have any bump steering. Just confused with the word "bump steer". someone describe the meaning

if you have springs other than stock, yes. Doesn't matter what model/year of cobalt you have.
