springs problem!!

dont know if this is the right section or not but here we go....

just wondering because i have a 2004 Ion Redline and was looking for lowering springs, but i would like to know if the spring sfor the cobalt ss will fit mine??? im looking for psring so if they do end up fitting sell ur lowering springs

I'm not really sure what you're asking here. Yes, cobalt ss springs will fit. ss/sc use different springs than ss/na, the sc springs have a little more drop and I believe they are a little stiffer. They are a good way to go if money is an issue.

i think he is asking if springs that say they were made for a cobalt would work on his ion. to tell you the truth im not sure, i mean if the suspension set up on your car is the same as a cobalt then i say go for it, but im not sure if they are. do they not make many springs for an ion?

they do....but i keep seeing used pairs getting sold here and i wanna grab them up lol...but i want a def. answer to see if they would fit...guess i mite have to try out and see

they will fit. Mechanically there is very little difference from your ion and a cobalt. If you dont want to believe me, which you shouldn't,I am just some guy on the Internet, look at new springs. Any new springs. They all say they fit cobalt and ion.

Ion springs and Cobalt springs are not interchangable. The rear springs can work for both but the fronts are different.
