Im going to check with my dealer and see what they say as far as warranty and installation. I have seen cases where the dealer will warranty parts that they put on. Its a GM part so it shouldnt mess with the warranty but u never know. And see how bad they will charge me for installation. All I want to do is get rid of that ugly wheel gap and get it so it handles better in the corners. I am planning on installing a DC strut bar also. See how it all ties together and works.

ordering with the stab bar is $740.36. if one changes the stab bar im thinking the bushings and links have to be changed too. thats an extra 49.85 for a total of 790.21. i want to do this but if i can get away without the stab bar and lower ca's ($463.38)id rather do that. gonna have to go to the stealership tomorrow and check it out.

I wouldn't worry about the springs working on your car, because they will.
but your dealer ship is going to tell you that your strut and shocks will not be replaced when they go on you.
so when something finaly comes out, I would recoment you get it as well

I spoke to the dealership and since its a lease they wouldnt cover the shocks and struts and when I turn the car in at the end of the lease I would have to pay for labor for putting the old springs back on and stuff. So I guess I wouldnt be doing it.

I can answer one of your questions

The control arm difference is for weight. The Aluminum SS control arm is designed to reduce the unsprung weight of the car. Lighter unsprung weight means less inertia for the spring to have to move, hence better spring response.

The parts are interchangeable.
