SS/SC springs on a LT

First post here.
I'm not familiar with the Cobalt, but have a few J-bodies.
I just picked up a 06 LT for my wife. We like it, but it looks like a 4x4
I'd like to drop it a little, but not as much as most lowering springs.
Will the SS/SC springs give me any, or is there an alternative thats good for ~1" drop?
Thanks.

They will do just fine for a drop like that. Rides a little stiffer i believe that it is a lot better.

yes it will give you some. but no one has any real hard numbers on an exact number. but it will get rid of most of the 4x4 look

I don't want to sound like a retard baby, but do you only have to replace the springs for the car to be lowered? I'm wanting to get some for my LS.

Yes it will lower it, you can do other things if you want more of a drop.

Thanks. I don't want the drop to be too extreme, the roads are pretty unpredictable around here.

thats good man. my parents wanted my grades more then me working for a car which is why i got my car like i did. and believe it or not, when i do sports and such, i focus more on my school work too, but if i had work ontop of that i just wouldn't have the time to keep my grades.
