its not the drop, it's the springs. Sportlines are drop springs, the pedders are performance springs. Nothing really wrong with the Eibachs, Pedders are just better.

 

Yea I understand that they are performance oriented rather than the Sportlines. I was really just wondering how the SS/TC struts/shocks would hold up with the Sportlines.

 

they'll hold up fine. don't cut your bumpstops.

 

Yea I haven't cut them for that reason. I've heard the SS/SC shocks/struts failed pretty easily on sportlines so I was trying to do whatever I can to make them last. Looks like I know what's next on the to-do list

 

they won't fail unless you drive like a real asshat and hit speedbumps at 30mph, aim for every pothole, and routinely jump curbs.

 

Haha awesome. The ride quality of these suck ass as of now. Every pothole sounds like a freakin car accident. I gotta jack that **** up and make sure the springs are lined up right and not causing that.

Every car i've seen with sportlines rode like ass.

 

I cut my bumpstops when I installed my sportlines...Which is why I had to order new ones for my pedders. There hard even for Tom at CED to get a hold of so be ready to wait a while for them.

 

Na we left them. Unless you cut them anyway when I wasn't looking? haha

I know CED is a great company, but you can get the struts and shocks (all 4) for about $300 if you go to GMPartsDirect.com or GMPartsOnline.net.

Enter the part numbers and check to see what shipping costs...you can save yourself about $75...or contact CED and see if they can match the price or give you more of a discount to get it closer to the GMPD or GMPO pricing.

 

CED just lowered down the price to about 280.00
