Strut help
I bought some Megan racing springs a little while back and just found out I need to switch my struts too and I know nothing about struts can someone help me out on what kind I should get? I have a 08 Lt sedan

You might not need either. You or your mechanic would have to tell us. I'm not there looking at your car.
You CAN change springs without replacing shocks or struts, if that is what you are asking. You only need to replace them if they are bad. And from my office, I cannot tell you if they are bad, sorry.

Unless they are leaking or blown out.... then no... you dont need to change them. Typically putting lowering springs on a factory shock/strut will cause them to go bad faster.... so a lot of people just replace the shocks/struts while they already are doing springs....but you dont HAVE to.
You need to use a spring compression tool to compress the spring inside the strut and then unscrew the top plate. You can then remove the old spring, insert the new one and screw back on the top plate. Here's a picture when I did mine.
