Struts and springs or coilovers
Struts and springs or coilovers
So I just found out I need two new front struts. So I'm going to just replace the front and backs. can't decide if I should get those with lowering springs. Or if I should get coilovers. What do you guys think? And which brand should I go with?

for starters you can adjust the height from all the way up to all the way down, which is usually a difference of 3.5"-4". secondly you can adjust the "dampening" which is how the shocks/struts react, you can set that to be from very soft all the way up to very stiff. most coilovers come with camber plates for the front as well which makes it a lot easier to perform an alignment after you do the install. it all depends on what you want to achieve and what you're willing to spend.

i'm not going to say a definite yes or no, personally i was on Eibach Pro-Kit springs for like 2.5 years and switched to coilovers last summer to be able to go lower. if you want to go low and have the ability to adjust things a little bit go coilovers, now if you just want to go a little bit lower and handle like a dream i'd say go with FE5 shocks/struts and Powell YYZ springs. it's much easier to decide what you want now and spend money once than change your mind like i did and spend money twice
