Switching from ss/sc springs to ss/tc
Switching from ss/sc springs to ss/tc
does anyone know if it will affect the ride height? wondering if i will need to get an alignment after i install them. currently my car has 53k on the sc springs. the tc springs im getting have 5k.
I'm also looking into swapping SS/TC springs, and also struts and shocks
I believe the drop is very minimal (if any) so there shouldn't be noticeable differences in terms of ride height.

well even if there is a quarter inch difference in ride height, I'll have to get an alignment. let me know how it turns out for you. I'm sure there are plenty of people doing this swap. please post your experiences with this swap!

The difference is the LNF springs are stiffer.
sweet dude thanks. they should be coming in the mail soon. Ill probably put em on after this weekend. Good to know i'm not going to need an alignment. I'm still going to measure the ground clearance at 4 points on the vehicle to make sure that once the springs settle, that they will be at the same ride height.

I switched from the ss/sc to ss/tc setup. Shocks, struts, and endlinks. Also did Pedders, and have aftermarket wheels and tires. I got an alignment, since I did have a slight pull to the right. I don't have the papers here, but only one thing had to be adjusted, which sounds like general pothole related stuff.
If you think you will be getting alignments regularly, go with Firestone. They have a Lifetime one, where you pay once, $90 I believe, and then it's free after that for as long as you own the car. Good at any stores, since you're in the database.

T/C springs are about 3/4" lower in front and about 2/10" lower in the rear.
I'd still get an alignment just in case.
@Withnith: Firestone lifetime alignment rocks. Haven't had to pay since 2006. lol

Every TC I've ever parked next to with stock springs were just as high as me (wheel gap wise).
