Tenzo R springs, Before and after

Tires: Stock 215-45-18
wheels: Stock ss sc wheels
The springs are Tenzo R's that i bought off a member , for $50 shipped.

Just wondering what you guys think of em. These are just more temportary till i save up some more for Cm springs. or if i find a deal on some coilovers.

Also, after i lower my car, do i have to buy any other parts (sway bars etc) ?

its not to bad. Its not great eaither. I didnt cut any bump stops so that might be it. But i heard if you cut the bump stops the ride will be better, but the struts an shocks will go out alot faster.

Are you taking corners pretty quickly? I thought that sway bars were to help keep your tires flatter on the ground as you corner. Wouldn't lowering your car diminish the need for sway bars due to a now lower center of gravity?

I'm just speculating here waiting for an expert opinion.

From the never wrong, always trusted source Wikipedia

"A sway bar or anti-roll bar or stabilizer bar is a part of an automobile suspension that helps reduce the body roll of a vehicle during fast cornering or over road irregularities. It connects opposite (left/right) wheels together through short lever arms linked by a torsion spring. A sway bar increases the suspension's roll stiffness—its resistance to roll in turns, independent of its spring rate in the vertical direction. The first stabilizer bar patent was awarded to the Canadian S. L. C. Coleman of Fredericton, New Brunswick on April 22, 1919.["

yes, i take corners at a decent amount of speed. ive just notice that people that lower there car also have sway bars, and some other stuff. Im just wondering if i need it cause the car is lowered, or if they just put those on there for extra. Once i get more work this summer, my car is gonna get alot more mods! I cant wait.

The sway bar has more effect on stopping body roll through unwanted side to side movement, lowering your car also helps this but not as much as a thick swaybar. rear sways also help with stability in braking, cornering, acceleration and help the car understeer less.
