These new springs ok?
These new springs ok?
Hi, i have a 07 cobalt LT and would like to know if these springs would work fine on my car? and is that a good brand or are there better ones that give me about a 2" drop at the rear and 1.5" front?
Thanks
EDIT** I found these ones, they don't drop as much but its almost the same. So which one works and is better?

If your going to pay 250 + duty fees for these you may as well buy these from a reputable company and shipping within Canada is free. I have never heard anything bad about these springs and I know of a few that have them.

The Cobalt springs are only 210.

I don't have to make a account with that website? it just takes me to PayPal and they get the shipping info?
Anyone have a comment on these springs, i don't want to buy springs just because there cheap i don't care about playing a little more for better quality.
a few members on here have canuck and say good things about them
dont get sprint...
eibach is great brand, but the prokit wont drop you 2" if thats what you are looking for you need to get the sportlines.

guess who manufactures Sprint springs? Canuck Motorsports...hahaha. That's what they told me awhile back when I bought mine for the Cavalier. So there's nothing wrong with Sprint springs...lol
the canucks will give you the opposite drop of what you're looking for though.

is says 2.0 in front and 2.5 in rear drop is that for the SS or for my model?
Thanks
Ok I'm going with these ones, i well get a 2.0 in front and 2.5 in rear drop on my LT right? this is not for the SS model?
Thanks you!
Thanks you!
The ones you are looking at "Eibach - Sportlines" are well respected here. Just a heads up though, you may want to look at new struts in the future as the lower the drop, the more likely you are to eventually burn out your factory. Koni struts are pretty well the best bang for the buck. But you likely won't need the struts right away.

Its kind of difficult to tell if the strut is blown but one quick way is to look up at the strut to see if any fluid is leaking out. If so, the strut is blown. But you would likely feel it in the ride quality well before that.
You will eventually notice ride quality deteriorate (rough ride, car tends to 'bound' over bumps). But some members here have run the Sportlines for quite a long time (over a year) without any issues. The life of your struts depend on quite few things: where you drive, alignment, how you drive, etc. So its very difficult to speculate on how long they will last.
As for new strut prices, you are likely looking at $500+ Cdn for a set of 4 plus installation (can be done easily on your own), plus alignment.
