yeah, i don't know why so many people bitch about the install.

****, i did mine with the car on jackstands in under 30 minutes. my only issue was that my vice was like 1/16th of an inch too small.

so, i just removed the little steel plates on the jaws and away we go.

I did my engine and tranny mounts in under an hour.
it really is a very straightforward install.
the only thing is its a little nailbiting having the engine supported by a jack

dude, after doing the clutch with just a little 1 ton hoist holding the whole shebang over your head... these are nothing.

lmao, plus, if you do one at a time, the jack is just additional support.

Nice, is it worth replacing the stock tranny mounts? Does it benefit you? Because I hate the stock mounts with holes and crap..

Yes, it will help transfer more effective torque to the wheels. By not having the engine rock, that "momentum" is now transfered to the wheels with the solid tranny and engine mounts.

Would I have to get an engine mount along with the tranny mounts for it to make a difference?

Yes it is best and most effective to have all, if you get 1/2 it is going to do 1/2 the job.

What about making an insert for the "4th" mount that no one seems to even know about??
