FE5 springs are discontinued, unless someone finds used old stock, but thanks.

Is he not a member of this forum? I only ask as I don't do Facebook or any of your mainstream social media.

Edit.
I see he goes by Mongorat427 on this forum based on my searching, I'll try hitting him up, thanks.

He is but I don't know if he has been on in the last year. I don't do Facebook either but it's easy to create an account just for using marketplace or car parts. You can sign up with basically a blank profile with no personal information which I have done for this very reason. I only use it for marketplace and car, truck, motorcycle communities.

All facebook knows about me is that I am a gear head. I don't engage in anything other that car, truck or motorcycle. I'm not a fan of facebook at all but for marketplace and selling car parts it is worth using. Just make sure to not add any of your IRL friends or it will start recommending you to everyone you know.

LMFAO, just created an account with the only information about me that was correct being my phone number and immediately, it tells me I have a friend request from a guy that owes me $200 that I haven't seen or been able to contact in nearly five years. ******* creepy as hell.

I mean seriously, the birth date was completely off, gender was put as other and I identified as a toaster, name was "Iamno Oneuknow".

How in the hell did I already have a friend request from someone I used to know years ago?

I think Facebook might utilize your IP address location (among many other factors) to suggest friends. Because mine was the same way. I use a VPN now though. It rarely suggests someone I know now but I have added a lot of Cobalt community people I don't actually know IRL. I made the mistake of adding one person I know before and I instantly started popping up in everyone's "suggested friends". I had to deny a lot of friend requests and do awkward explaining on how I'm not being a dick I just use facebook for car parts.

Possible. Or maybe since I'm on my phone, it somehow accessed more than it should.

Edit

Didn't know there was a marketplace on Facebook, is it actually pretty decent? I mean is there actually a fair amount of "useful" things posted?

Depends on your area and what they post but people post up all kinds of ****. Basically a classifieds section. Some of it is good and some people think their things are made of gold and are asked 2X what they are worth. I found my Vmax motorcycle on there.

In functionality, compared to craigslist it SUCKS. But it's where a ton of people are so there's a lot of crap to buy. I usually just watch buy/sell/trade pages for people posting ISO for stuff I've already listed so that I can sell it to them.

Well, Mr. Reiland said he only has front springs at the moment. Is it wise to get springs from different cars with different amounts of wear? Not even sure if the springs are from a SC or TC that he has, as I only specified I was looking for FE5 springs.

Join some of the groups and post up some WTB ads. Surely there are some people out there with a pair of springs stashed away

Joined (pending) Chevy Cobalt Owners Public Group. I'll join the others you listed as well, thanks. I may not have found them otherwise, I just did a Google search for Facebook Cobalt Car Club. Realize now, should have put group.

Hopefully you find some in a timely manner. Goes without saying but I recommend using paypal with buyer protection unless you really know and trust someone. Gives you a course of action if someone tries to sell you a bunk part or screws around and doesn't ship.

What are you asking for them shipped to 67601? I have another person telling me they have 09' SS/TC springs which I'm awaiting a response from on shipped price as well.
