What will the difference be between...

Hey there,

About a year ago i purchased some SSC's for the fiancee's 2007 4 door SS.

They never ended up getting installed, so we put them on Kijiji for sale.

When I purchased them, I of coarse made sure to note that the car was the 4 door SS.

My first potential buyer came by this morning, and pointed out the part number for me, 21-3011, and said that was the part number for the non-SS Cobalt.

I looked it up on the SSC site, and he was right.

Cobalt 05-09 Front Drop 2" Rear Drop 1.5" Part #21-3011
Cobalt SS 05-09 Front Drop 1" Rear Drop 1.5" Part #21-3021
(http://www.superiorsportchassis.com/..._app_guide.pdf)

My potential buyer has a 2006 SS/SC and is worried about the purchase.

I searched and read through a few posts, and I am 90% sure they will fit (FE3 vs FE5), but the buyer is worried about spring rates, heights, etc.

Can anyone give some info on what the buyer might have to expect, etc? And anything in regards to the spring rates and so forth?

Please and thank you.

When I purchased them, as I mentioned, I made sure to say they were for the SS.

So, when I listed them on Kijiji, I listed them for the SS. Hence the reason the SS guy wanted to buy them.

But it wasn't until he pointed out the part number, that I realized they weren't.

from my understanding they are not as "aggressive" so not as stiff and I dont think the drop was as low...although it was very minimal height difference.
