What's the Difference? (Suspension)

Im a complete noob when it comes with any kind of suspension. Basically im scared of doing suspension because im scared that I might screw it up. (the car that is) I just had a couple of questions.

What is the difference between sportlines and lowering springs?

And what's the difference between coilcovers compared to other springs. Just the adjustability?

Well thats kind of what like 20% or more of this entire section is devoted to, read, read, read.....When youre tired of reading, go read some more. Then work on your car, then read some more.

Sportlines are a a particular model of Eibach brand lowering springs.

Coilovers are an adjustable spring and dampers(struts) combined into one unit.

stuff footballs in your rear springs, or buy air shocks.

If I said that I was a complete noob in suspension, why would I read this section when half of the stuff they talk about, I don't understand?

And how can I work on my car, when I don't know what to do with suspension?

I just wanted to know the definition of some things and some advice.

But thanks, for helping me.

Oh sorry......my bad for recommending you read up on something you dont know about, i didnt mean for you to have to learn anything

Our suspension a relatively simple. If you are mechanically inclined and have even remotely usable tool kit you could install springs yourself with the info from this site.

What advice where you looking for? I thought I gave good advice regarding doing some reading, but apparently I was mistaken. What kind of advice are you looking for???
