YYZ springs
well i dont care about drop. pedders drop is fine with me from what i have seen. I just wish it was a hair tad lower in the rear.
im on sportlines now and hate the ride. reason i got pedders. but i have NOT installed them yet. i want to see more info about these springs

going over bumpy roads and small potholes and swer caps suck on sportlines. (avoid them as much as i can)
but if these YYZ springs will lower the rear just a hairrrrr than im going to leave my pedders in the box and wait for these to come out and sell the pedders than the sportlines when the YYZ go on. i messaged john about them so ill find out if i want to buy these
yeah i just hope these lower a tad hair more in the rear. because pedders drop i can live with. i just dont want to go higher than pedders. ive been on sportlines for about 3.5 years so raising the car a tad may take getting use to i just dont want the height to go drastically up with the YYZ'z i have seen tons of pedders and am fine with it i just wished pedders lowered the rear a hair
YYZ Airport Watch
and btw there named after the airport not rush the band lol
Putting $40 aside a week for these! i need new springs asap! megans are crap, but stock ride height is 4x4 and ive always thought pedders are 4x2 ride height (not low enough) so hopefully these will be better.
agreed! the front in pedders is low enough for my taste its just the rear that sits a tad higher than i want. keeping my pedders where they are sitting in the boxes inside the shipping box they came in for another 2 weeks. going to see how these look and i can decide if i wanna buy them. i dont even know how pedders ride hands on because there not installed but i heard theey DO ride goood so if these YYZ springs ride BETTER than im in good shape.
sportlines just kills me on shitty roads. i drive one every day its liek clunk clunk clunkkkkk just ride harsh. all i like about sportlines is the drop and the handling. with the powell rear hardcore sway corners are nice!

john said the following to my response about me having pedders that arent installed yet and asked if these are better and about hight
"will definetly outperform the pedders and as for trim heights i expect them to be better but wont know until we put the first ones on a car...ugh....fingers crossed!"
so hopefully powell YYZ springs will be FTW

well pedders drop 1.5" front and 1.6" rear. im on sportlines now which is a 2.0 drop in front and 2.0 drop rear (base model). so pedders is only .5 higher in the front and .9 higher in the rear.
id like to see 1.7 in the front and 1.8 or 1.9 in the rear. thatd be nice for the YYZ

These won't ride better than pedders, they will be stiffer so a harsher ride but it will be worth it in terms of performance.
And you can't rush a quality item like this, im confident the time john's putting into these will be time well spent.

True you can't rush good things, but from what I've heard John should be done with the engineering already and he's just waiting for the manufacturer to finish up the first batch. Secondly, John is a business man and he needs to make money, but the autocross and road racing season is going to be coming to an end soon. Launching a product in the fall might not be the best idea because they won't get very many reviews if the racing season is over already. Just my $.02
I'm sure wang will share his track experience within the week he gets them on.
These springs are not for the timid. These springs are designed to run with koni's in the rear at least. John also sells re-vavled front koni's for the front but it's pricy, $500 on top of the cost of the front shocks. It looks like you can run FE5 fronts but you need to run koni's in the rear.
