YYZ springs

DW are great tires for daily driving. They cut through water in an amazing way. They're not crazy sticky, but I have a separate set of tires for track. The other thing is that they would be completely inappropriate for snow/ice conditions. I drive my truck when the weather gets nasty in winter.

Yep, designed that way to achieve the desired spring rate, ride, and performance. Two in front, and four in the rear.
edit: clarification. They are dead under static load. If the suspension droops, they become active. It's important to get that droop so that you get travel back in the suspension. Other springs that don't have sufficient spring rate in their "dead" coils do not expand the suspension enough when it needs to droop. As a result, you have reduced travel, and it will hurt when it comes crashing back down on the other side of the bump. I think John and Hyperco did a great job in the design here.

On the way home , I take country backroads, lots of rough pavement, whoop de doo's and no traffic.
Under hard accelleration, with the previous Pedders set up, with koni rear, I could not wot in some areas as the car tended to walk too much right or left and the bumps landing really upset it.
YYZ are different, for the difference in spring travel makes the car easier to drive a lot faster on difficult roads. I am not condoning speeding on country roads. I am saying the car is more stable, and the power is easier to put down.
Now all this information is fine, but there remain questions.
Why does the car sit so high?
Will these springs rust and sag like Pedders.
and my fave, "you said pedders were the best, now you want us to beleive these are the best"
The car sits lower than stock, about a scoche higher than fresh pedders, a lot higher than sagged pedders. I fyou want more loah, get airbags.
Rust? wont be like Pedders, but you can bet your boots ifyou drive in the salty rust belt, use rustcheck on your car suspension parts underneath, and dont be whining to me if you dont.
BITD Pedders were all there was to do better.
not anymore.
Sag? These springs may settle up to 1/4 inch but they will never lose rate. I guarantee it.
Like Jim at Rockwell told me in 1979, they wont lose rate. Still true today. How many years is that?
Oh and made in USA.
lets argue that one shall we? lol

I have YYZ on stock front struts. So yes. Check the rates. Please uUnderstand that as a spring loses rate it does not get better. As it sags, the coils run into each other and make a lot of noise. etc
One of the downsides of extreme drops are the number of people who run into vibrations, axle bind, clunking and of course, hammering the bottom of the car on the road.
