ZZP Big Brake kit issues?

was going to just do pads and rotors but decided screw it ill just pick up zzps kit

got one side off, bolted the bracket on as per instructions, went to go put the rotor on and the rotor hits the balljoint and bracket, also cant get the caliper between the bracket and rotor

so im not sure if i got sent the wrong rotor or whats going on, or if im just missing something and am retarded

No bueno. Neither are those Chinese drilled rotors. I just picked up a set of Made in good old Germany stock lnf rotors. Stock brakes are more than enough on our cars. Even if you have many horses and drive like Andretti like me
Sucks though. Hope you get it taken care of!

I do track days on a regular basis. Those drilled rotors would crack under heavy track use in no time. Heck I recently cracked a solid R1Concepts rotor lol.
My advice to you would be to return everything to ZZP for a full refund. If they will give you that. And get stock rotors and some good race pads.

Reread the instructions, looks like issue is the caliper bracket bolted to wrong side of the knuckle

That's what I was thinking, doesn't it bolt in the other way?

Looking at the pictures again, i think these guys might be right. Seems to me the ZZP logo should be visible from the outside not the inside...

nope,

either way the rotor would hit the balljoint, flipping the brack just makes it smash into the rotor even more.

this is a picture from the instructions

Seems like that has to be the issue.
