110 octane
Ok, I know I'm prolly gonna catch alot of flack for this and I'm not even sure it's in the right section. I recently found a gas station really close to where I live that dispenses 110 and I'm wondering....do i need a tune for this or can I just put it in and go? yes, I know, prolly a dumb question, but I don't know the answer. And the only way to get one is to ask it anyway lol

I'm sure you will notice a slight difference..... I used to have a 76' chevy truck with a 400SB and a 750 cfm holly....I ran 94 all the time in it, then ran 110, notice a little more, but when I ran airplane fuel(140 octane i think) in it at the track, **** it was fast.....but then for that all I did was adjust the air/fuel with a screw driver

damn....jet fuel would be better. All the airports near here have stopped selling their stuff to car guys. I dunno why tho, just things I've been hearin from the muscle car guys around here.
Ok, nother question then...WickedSS is who I'd have tune me up, but he lives almost 3 hours away from me. By the time I got down there, I'd need a filler up for the trip back. Tuned on 110, could I run 93?

Well that is the plan. This car is quite soon to become a 400whp monster and it's no longer going to be my DD. I'm goin with the Hahn Lvl 5 setup and we're gonna push the limits and go for 400whp. But thru the winter and work week it's gonna stay in the garage. Track days and local car meets on occasion are about the only time I'm gonna bring her out. So yea, always gonna be 110

We don't have 96 around here that I know of. 94 is the highest I've seen and that's at a Sunoco station

If you put in 110 octane without a tune.. your not going to notice ANY power difference... if you do, that means you had knock retard and it is now gone due to higher octane..
if you tune for 110 octane, and use a lower octane... and hit the gas... you will probably hurt your engine...
