would you consider his tuning for the supercharger the same as what you would do for a turbo?

Are you not forcing air into the manifold and using boost?

Go to like, borders or barnes and nobles, and look for a F/I book and read it...I know Adam has read a few books(NJHK) and knows quite a bit about it...but you are still generally pushing a whole bunch of air into the car...

Depeneds how far you go into it...how far into it are you gonna go?

I would think that it wouldn't be too much different below 8 PSI really...a lot less heat?

The methods will be similar but different, ie a cobalt will hit peak boost very early whereas a turbo will take time to spool up, same goes with a centrifugal supercharger in that the boost for them is relative to the rpm your spinning at. Roots style blowers give you tons of boost right off throttle. Can it be done? yes. Is tuning a turbo different from SC'd tuning? yes.

It's defintiely different. IE you can't get a tune from an ss/sc and flash that on your 2.4. Bad things would happen. PE will have to enter at different rpms/throttle pos and theres way more to it than that.

how much different would it be? would it be different fuel and spark settings all across the rpm band or am i wrong? the only successful custom turbo and hptuned i know of was ppazz...but then again when i think about it i believe he has been the oly one to really try it...
